photo software for years
creating near-perfect pictures
- but no, not anymore
publishing software
pushes me over the edge
life's way too short
to pull out my hair
hired a designer
to click and to clack
uploads my new book
so everyone can look
I'll puff and point
and flip every page
happy my time
is without any strain
National Poetry Writing Month #NaPoWriMo challenge for today is to write a poem about something I have absolutely no interest in.
My first emphasis was on book publishing software that I've been so stressed out about for over a year. I've worked in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom software for twenty years but couldn't deal with book publishing software.
I finally decided all the stress wasn't worth it so I hired a graphic designer who loves what she does.
Secondly, I'm much more passionate about haiku poetry than rhyme so I'll add that to my statement of something I have no interest in.
