NaPoWriMo Day 10 - Love #1

love's easy when young

hands hold on through life's quests

lusciously lust-filled nights

"for better, for worse"

laughed at .... implicit ... til

poor health is the norm

hold his hand

wrap your arms around him

loving him tenderly

remembering the

"for better" years

Here we are on day ten of National Poetry Writing Month #NaPoWriMo. I didn't know for sure if I could / would tackle this challenge. Am I ready? Am I "good enough?" Probably not but I'm going for it. Every day is a learning experience and here's another one, right?

Today's prompt is pretty simple – a love poem!

In the early morning hours (thanks to being woken up by the cat) I wrote several different poems with the lens pointed at friends, cats, the garden, and of course, my husband.
