Winter Moon's Gifts

on the shelf
light shines on new haiku book
winter moon's gift

* * * * *
awake to fresh snow
birds call for a full feeder
boots hats mittens

* * * * *
winter garden
surface sleeps so soundly
soil waits to awaken

* * * * *
sun's angle -
long southern shadows
at year-end

* * * * *

at year's end

haiku journal closes

new book begins
