I purchased supplies at an art store so I could make an artificial flower arrangement, photograph it, and turn it into a greeting card that I sent out with a different, personalized message for each person.
This is the process I used for 10 years marking special events by creating (usually a fresh) flower arrangement, photographing it, and saving the image to mark that time.
