Fresh "Flothers"

shoveling fresh flothers
call up new haiku with every lift
new exercise program

After reading Annie Wilson's poem and learning of this new word "flother" I quickly revised my poem. We, in the north country, should have more words for snow. IMHO.

college speech class
passionate speech ran over
time allowance - Grade D

Speech class in grade school was torture. I honestly don't know if I actually cried but my memory wants me to think so. I clearly remember my hands shake as I held up the colorful music chart I was talking about.

Decades later I had lost my fear and had the opposite problem of speaking far too long and was penalized with a bad grade as a result. (Topic: Smoking Cigarettes)
