Happy Gotcha Day
he jumped and purred in my arms
filled me with joyful tears
March 18, 2020, I was scurrying around trying to find pet adoption facilities still open before the beginning of the shutdowns. Initially, I had it in my mind to choose a tiger-striped kitty that was advertised at Petfinder.com. When I came for the visit, instead I met this gray and white cat who jumped in my arms and I fell in love.
